C1 Staffing is hiring a Floor Technician in Lancaster, PA for a full-time, contract-to-hire assignment with one of our clients. The role pays $17.34 per hour with overtime at $24.28 per hour, and it comes with the potential to convert to a permanent position.
What you will do:- Clean, maintain and restore floors, carpets and hard surfaces throughout the facility- Operate floor care equipment including buffers, scrubbers, extractors and vacuums- Strip, scrub and refinish hard surface flooring as assigned- Perform carpet care tasks such as vacuuming and extraction- Work in any assigned area on the premises, which may include commercial buildings, health care settings, schools, universities or similar establishments- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper handling, dilution and use of cleaning chemicals- Use and maintain equipment correctly, reporting any issues or repair needs- Maintain a professional appearance in the provided uniform shirt
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $17.34 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $24.28 per hour- Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week- Shifts start at 8:00- Fridays are included in the weekly schedule- Ongoing assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent role- A uniform shirt is provided
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift for the length of the shift- Prior floor care or commercial cleaning experience preferred- Comfort operating floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors and vacuums- Understanding of safe chemical handling and willingness to follow all site safety rules- Dependable attendance and a professional appearance in the provided uniform shirt- Willingness to complete pre-assignment screening requirements
