Loader/Crew — Warehouse and Furniture Handling in Woodridge, IL
C1 Staffing is hiring a Loader/Crew member in Woodridge, Illinois to load and unload trucks and prepare furniture and related products for delivery, transfer, or storage. The pay is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly, and this is shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis for dependable crew members.
What you will do:
- Load and unload trucks with care, handling items to prevent damage and making sure everything is placed properly and securely for transport.- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer so outbound loads are complete and ready on time.- Clean, repair, wrap, and assemble furniture so that each piece is rental-ready or correctly prepared for storage.- Tag, store, and relocate inventory within the warehouse so items can be located quickly and accurately.- Conduct cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including work areas, aisles, and staging zones.- Follow all safety guidelines on the floor and while handling equipment and product.- Attend safety meetings and complete daily warm-ups before starting physical work.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $18.00 per hour.- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing.- Shift-based assignment that may be ongoing depending on performance and business needs.- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.
What you will need:
- Must be at least 18 years old.- Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting, carrying, bending, and moving furniture and other products by hand.- Comfort loading and unloading trucks and handling items carefully to avoid damage.- Willingness to follow safety procedures, take part in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups.- Attention to detail for tagging, staging, storing, and cycle counting inventory.- Willingness to work weekend shifts when business needs require it.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
