C1 Staffing is hiring a Catering Service Worker for a client location in Plano, TX. The pay is $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour, and you are paid weekly.
This role is built around event service: setting up catered meals and refreshments, delivering them where they are needed, and making sure every guest is taken care of from the first tray to the final cleanup. It is event-based work with flexible hours at a well-established client, and the assignment has the potential to continue on an ongoing or contract-to-hire basis.
What you will do:- Organize, set up and deliver requested catering services to the specified location or conference room- Transport catering supplies, food and beverages to meeting spaces and event areas- Arrange service areas so that setups are neat, complete and ready before guests arrive- Provide prompt, courteous service to every customer throughout the event- Deliver efficient, attentive service that exceeds customer expectations- Break down service areas once events conclude, including removing trays, equipment and leftover items- Clean service areas after each event and return the space to proper condition- Arrive on time and ready for each scheduled event so setups stay on schedule
Schedule and pay:- $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour- Approximately 8 hours per week during the assignment window- Paid weekly- Event-based scheduling, so shifts are tied to scheduled catering times
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior catering, food service or hospitality experience preferred- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly presence- Ability to stand, walk, lift and transport catering supplies throughout the shift- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled event times- A black uniform is required for all shifts
