C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker for a client location in New Berlin, NY, supporting food preparation and serving across the property. This is a contract-to-hire role paying $19.01 per hour on a steady 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM shift, with overtime paid at $26.61 per hour.
What you will do:
- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between prep, counter, and serving areas as needed- Assist with the setup of counters and steamtables before each service period- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables, keeping portions consistent and lines moving- Keep serving areas stocked and presentable throughout the shift- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work stations during and after service- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and temperature practices- Support the kitchen and service team wherever help is needed during busy periods
Schedule and pay:
- $19.01 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $26.61 per hour- 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM shift- 40 hours per week- Contract-to-hire assignment with the potential to continue long term
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Comfort working on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced kitchen and serving environment- Ability to move throughout the property to wherever food is being prepared or served- Dependability and consistent attendance for the scheduled hours- A team-first attitude and a friendly approach to serving guests- Attention to detail when cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations- Willingness to complete any required pre-employment screening
