C1 Staffing is hiring Package Handlers for warehouse work in Kentwood, MI (49512). This is a hands-on unloading, sorting, and loading role paying $18.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time openings available.
As a Package Handler, you will be part of a warehouse crew that keeps packages moving from inbound trailers to outbound delivery trucks. Safety is the first core value on this operation, and everyone on the floor is expected to work as a team to get the job done.
What you will do:- Unload packages from inbound trailers quickly and safely- Sort packages by zip code so they are routed to the correct delivery area- Load sorted packages onto trucks for outbound deliveries- Move and handle parcels weighing up to 50 pounds throughout your shift- Follow all safety procedures and safe lifting practices at all times- Work alongside other warehouse operatives as a team, stepping in where help is needed- Stay on your feet and keep pace with the flow of packages coming through the building- Work in warehouse conditions where temperatures vary with the season, including heat and cold
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $18.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Full-time and part-time schedules are available
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stay on your feet for the length of your shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in a warehouse where temperatures change with the season, including heat and cold- Dependable, flexible, and reliable attendance- Willingness to work as part of a team and pitch in wherever the crew needs support- A commitment to following safety rules and safe handling practices- Gloves and work boots are recommended for this work- All candidates must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
