Environmental Service Attendant - Eden, NC
C1 Staffing is hiring an Environmental Service Attendant in Eden, North Carolina, to clean and maintain assigned facilities on second shift. This is a contract-to-hire role paying $19.96 per hour with steady full-time hours and a clear path to a permanent position for the right candidate.
What you will do:
- Clean and maintain assigned facilities, keeping all areas orderly and presentable throughout your shift- Work in any location on the client's premises as assigned, moving between areas as needs change- Support cleanliness standards in settings that may include commercial buildings, health care facilities, schools, universities, or similar establishments- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as surface cleaning, floor care, trash removal, and restocking as directed by the site supervisor- Follow all site safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment- Keep supply areas, carts, and equipment clean, stocked, and in good working order- Communicate maintenance issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to the appropriate site contact- Work independently during evening hours with limited direct supervision
Schedule and pay:
- $19.96 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $27.94 per hour- Second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.- 40 hours per week- Contract-to-hire, with ongoing potential for the right candidate
What you will need:
- Must be 18 years or older- Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently on an evening shift- Comfort with the physical demands of ongoing cleaning work, including standing and walking for most of the shift, bending, reaching, and moving between areas of the building- Willingness to follow all site safety and sanitation procedures- A white top and black pants are required starting day one
Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience is helpful, but dependability and a strong work ethic matter most. This is a good fit for someone who takes pride in leaving a space clean and wants an evening schedule with consistent weekly hours.
