C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for a cleaning assignment in Kansas City, MO (64129). The role pays $16.00 per hour, and C1 pays weekly.
This is hands-on janitorial work focused on keeping public areas, seating areas, and restrooms clean and presentable. If you take pride in leaving a space better than you found it and you can keep moving through a shift, this is a good fit.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and litter throughout assigned areas, including seating sections, walkways, and common spaces- Collect recycling and keep recyclable materials separated from general waste- Empty garbage cans as they fill and carry bagged waste to the designated collection points- Sweep floors, concourses, and walkways to keep surfaces clear of debris- Clean restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors- Keep restrooms checked and tidy throughout the shift as traffic comes through- Return trash cans, tools, and cleaning supplies to their proper places at the end of the shift- Report spills, damage, or supply shortages to the on-site supervisor
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Work is performed on site in Kansas City, MO (64129)
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds- Willingness to work around crowds, trash, and restroom cleaning tasks- Attention to detail and the ability to work steadily without close supervision- Dependability and on-time arrival for every scheduled shift
No prior janitorial experience is required. If you have cleaned commercial buildings, event venues, restaurants, schools, or similar spaces, that background is useful, but we will show you what the assignment expects.
A few things that help people succeed in this role. The work moves in waves, so there will be busy stretches where you are steadily clearing trash and stretches where you are doing detail cleaning and restroom checks. Comfortable shoes and a good attitude go a long way. Communication matters too, so let your supervisor know early if an area needs more attention or you are running low on supplies.
