C1 Staffing is hiring a Barista I for a client location in Saint Davids, PA, crafting hand-made coffee, tea, and specialty drinks for a steady stream of customers. The role pays $21.32 per hour on a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with no nights and no weekends.
What you will do:- Craft quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to each customer's specifications- Take drink orders accurately and deliver them quickly during busy morning and lunch periods- Operate cash registers and credit card machines and handle transactions correctly- Provide exceptional customer service at every interaction, from greeting to handoff- Field customer questions and complaints with professionalism, working to maintain strong customer relations- Keep the beverage station clean, stocked, and ready for service throughout the shift- Maintain speedy delivery of all beverages without sacrificing drink quality
Schedule and pay:- $21.32 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $29.85 per hour- Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm- 40 hours per week- This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior barista or customer-facing food and beverage experience preferred- A friendly, upbeat communication style and a genuine focus on service- Ability to stand for the length of the shift in a fast-paced environment- Comfort working through rush periods while keeping orders accurate- Reliable attendance for an early morning start- Black on black attire for the dress code
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys the rhythm of a busy beverage bar and takes pride in getting a drink exactly right. You will be the first face many customers see in the morning, so a warm greeting and a calm approach when the line gets long matter as much as technique behind the espresso machine. If you have made drinks in a cafe, a campus coffee shop, a hotel bar, or a quick-service setting, that experience translates directly here.
