Food Service Worker - Alpharetta, GA
C1 Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers for a short-term, shift-based assignment with one of our clients in Alpharetta, GA. The pay is $18.33 per hour, paid weekly, with a clear 8-hour shift and no guesswork on the rate.
What you will do:- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between kitchen, prep, and service areas as needed- Assist with the setup of food service counters and steamtables before service begins- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables during the service period- Restock and maintain service lines so food stays available and presented properly throughout the shift- Clean and sanitize equipment, work stations, and service areas during and after service- Break down counters and steamtables at the end of service and return the area to a clean, organized condition- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards in place at the site- Work alongside the kitchen and service team to keep a fast-moving line running smoothly
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $18.33 per hour- Overtime is paid at $25.66 per hour when applicable- Shift is 8:00am to 4:00pm, for a total of 8 hours- Short-term, shift-based assignment; additional shifts may be available- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Comfort standing and walking for the length of the shift in an active kitchen and service area- Ability to lift and move items such as pans, trays, and service equipment throughout the shift- Ability to work as part of a fast-moving team during a busy service period- Reliable arrival at the scheduled shift start time- Required uniform: black shirt and black pants- Willingness to follow site food safety and sanitation rules at all times
