Janitors and Cleaners - Del Valle, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for shift-based janitorial work in Del Valle, Texas, paying $16.00 per hour. We are filling 15 openings on this assignment, and the work may be ongoing for cleaners who show up ready to work.
This is straightforward, hands-on cleaning work. You will keep walkways, restrooms, and common areas clean and presentable throughout your shift, working as part of a crew with clear direction on what areas you are covering.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and loose litter from assigned areas and keep those areas clear throughout the shift- Collect and sort recycling and place it in the correct containers- Empty garbage cans and replace liners as cans fill up- Sweep floors, walkways, and other assigned surfaces- Clean restrooms, including fixtures and surfaces, and restock as directed- Haul collected trash and recycling to designated drop points or dumpsters- Report spills, overflowing containers, or supply shortages to your onsite supervisor- Return carts, brooms, and other cleaning equipment to the proper area at the end of the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig / shift-based work that may continue as additional shifts become available- 15 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Able to be on your feet, walk, bend, and reach for the length of the shift- Comfortable handling trash and recycling and cleaning restrooms- Willing to work outdoors and indoors as the assignment requires- Able to follow directions from an onsite supervisor and stay on task with limited supervision- Dependable attendance and on-time arrival for your scheduled shift
No prior janitorial experience is required. If you have cleaned at venues, schools, offices, warehouses, or events before, that experience is welcome, but we will show you what needs to be done and where.
