C1 is hiring a Cook II in Carthage, TX. This is a full-time contract assignment running from September 28, 2026 through November 30, 2026, with the potential to become a permanent hire for the right person. Pay is $15.37 per hour, with overtime paid at $21.52 per hour.
Schedule: 6:00am to 2:30pm, 40 hours per week. We are looking for someone flexible enough to cover AM and PM shifts and provide relief coverage for vacations as needed.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and grill service- Learn both retail and patient menus- Cross-train and fill in across kitchen positions, including cashier, salads, food service, and dish room- Keep work areas, equipment, and service stations clean and sanitary
What you need:- Strong customer service skills and a team-first attitude- Commitment to cleaning and sanitation standards- Ability to pass a background check- Uniform: black pants, black shirt, and slip-resistant shoes
