C1 is hiring a Cook I in Richmond Heights, MO. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our client partners, offering 40 hours per week and a clear path to permanent placement.
Pay is $18.81 per hour, with overtime paid at $26.33 per hour. The schedule is an AM shift, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with every other weekend and holidays required. The assignment runs from September 21, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines accurately and efficiently- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen work area
What you need:- Previous cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen setting- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment- Dependable attendance, including weekend and holiday shifts- Uniform: black pants, black collared shirt, and slip-resistant shoes
