C1 is hiring 4 Cook II professionals in Greensboro, NC for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our client partners. This is an ongoing assignment running June 22, 2026 through September 30, 2026, with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
Pay is $18.46 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.84 per hour.
Schedule and details:- 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm shift, 40 hours per week- Every other weekend and every other holiday required- Please plan for a 3 to 5 week hiring process- Uniform: chef jacket, black pants, and non-slip shoes
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events- Follow recipes and portion standards for consistent quality and presentation- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen work area
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen- Comfort standing for full shifts and handling typical kitchen physical demands- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting
