C1 is hiring Cook II team members in Evansville, IN for one of our client partners. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with six openings, running from August 12, 2026 through December 13, 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role.
Pay is $16.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.56 per hour.
What you will do:- Prepare, cook, and portion menu items to recipe and quality standards- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures- Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized- Support the kitchen team during high-volume service periods
What we are looking for:- Prior cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen setting- A flexible schedule, as multiple shifts are available and needed- Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week- Comfort standing for full shifts and handling the physical demands of kitchen work
Dress code and appearance standards:- Black non-slip kitchen shoes required- No jewelry- No artificial lashes or nails
