Delivery Driver (Delivery Driver) - Seattle, WA 98108
C1 Staffing is hiring a Delivery Driver for an ongoing, full-time route position in Seattle, WA (98108), paying $18.00 per hour. This is a hands-on driving role that combines deliveries, consignment stock management, used battery recovery, and customer installations.
What you will do:- Safely operate a Class B or C vehicle to deliver products to customers along an assigned route.- Pick up and recover used batteries from customer sites during delivery stops.- Manage and maintain consignment stock so customer inventory levels stay accurate.- Plan efficient routes to keep deliveries on schedule and reduce unnecessary mileage.- Load and unload the vehicle safely using material handling tools.- Perform battery installations for customers at their locations.- Maintain accurate documentation of every transaction, delivery, and pickup.- Assist with training new drivers and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.- Full-time schedule.- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing.- Career-track, ongoing assignment rather than a short-term project.
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older.- High school diploma or equivalent; 3.0 GPA preferred.- Minimum of 1 year of delivery experience.- Motor Vehicle Record showing minimal safety issues within the last 3 years.- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service rules, safe driving practices, and proper handling procedures.- Ability to operate material handling tools and use ERP applications for recordkeeping.- Comfortable managing customer interactions in a professional, service-focused way.- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 50 lbs, and driving for extended periods.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
