C1 Staffing is hiring a Bartender (Non-Tipped) for a short-term, shift-based assignment in Detroit, MI. The pay is $17.24 per hour for a single 8-hour shift running 9am to 5pm, with no long-term commitment required.
This role is a straightforward, high-energy bar shift: you will mix and serve drinks for guests, keep up with orders coming from wait staff, and help the service team move quickly during peak periods. If you have bartending experience and want to pick up one well-paid shift, this assignment is a strong fit.
What you will do:- Deliver exceptional customer service to every guest you serve- Mix and serve drinks to patrons directly or through wait staff- Fill drink orders quickly and accurately while minimizing waste and over-pouring- Partner closely with wait staff and other team members so guests receive prompt, seamless service- Keep your bar area clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift- Maintain a professional, guest-ready presence from the start of the shift to the end
Schedule and pay:- $17.24 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $24.14 per hour when applicable- One 8-hour shift, 9am to 5pm- Shift-based assignment that may lead to additional work- Located in Detroit, MI
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior bartending or high-volume beverage service experience- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced service environment- Ability to stand, move, and lift for the duration of the shift- Comfort working behind a bar while coordinating with wait staff and other team members- Dependable attendance and punctual arrival for the scheduled start time- Professional, guest-ready appearance
