C1 Staffing is hiring a Grill Cook in Green Bay, WI, to prepare and present hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role paying $17.10 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.94 per hour and 40 hours per week available.
What you will do:- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Cook across multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service- Produce food for special and catered events as they are scheduled- Follow recipes, plating standards, and portion control guidelines so every plate goes out consistent- Keep the grill station, prep areas, and work surfaces clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, cooking temperatures, and storage- Work at a steady pace during peak meal rushes while keeping quality and presentation on point- Wear the required uniform, which is provided for you
Schedule and pay:- $17.10 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.94 per hour- Full-time, 40 hours per week- Shifts start at 7:00am- Contract-to-hire, with the potential to convert to a permanent role with the client- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior grill or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred- Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a steady pace in a hot kitchen environment- Comfort working around grills, ovens, hot surfaces, and standard commercial kitchen equipment- Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail- Understanding of basic food safety and sanitation practices- Willingness to wear the provided uniform and follow kitchen appearance standards- Must be able to provide documentation for E-Verify employment eligibility verification
