C1 is hiring a dedicated and skilled Cook II to join our team in Carthage, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for preparing high-quality meals.
Key Responsibilities: - Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for all meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Grill.- Cover AM, PM, and provide relief during vacations as needed, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.- Learn and manage both retail and patient menus, demonstrating versatility by performing various positions in the kitchen, such as salads, food service worker, and dishroom duties.- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.- Exhibit strong teamwork and customer service skills, fostering a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Qualifications: - Prior cooking experience in a similar role is preferred.- Strong understanding of food preparation and presentation techniques.- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.- Willingness to learn and adapt to different kitchen stations and tasks.- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
