Environmental Service Attendant - Chapel Hill, NC
C1 Staffing is hiring Environmental Service Attendants for an evening-shift cleaning role in Chapel Hill, NC, paying $19.24 per hour with overtime at $26.94 per hour. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, meaning strong performers have the potential to convert to a permanent role.
In this position you will keep assigned facilities clean, orderly, and sanitary. You may be assigned to any location on the client's premises, which can include commercial, health care, school, university, or similar establishments, so flexibility and a professional presence matter.
What you will do:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas so they remain in an orderly, sanitary condition throughout the shift- Work in any location on the client's premises, including commercial, health care, school, university, or similar settings- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards on every task- Apply infection control practices as directed by the site- Restock supplies in assigned areas so they stay stocked and ready for use- Report maintenance needs and equipment issues as they come up- Operate and push cleaning equipment and carts between assigned areas- Interact professionally with staff, patients, students, and members of the public while working
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $19.24 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $26.94 per hour- Shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.- 40 hours per week- Contract-to-hire, with the potential to convert to a permanent role
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Dependable attendance for the full evening shift, every scheduled day- Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift- Ability to lift and push cleaning equipment throughout the shift- Comfort working around staff, patients, students, or the public in a professional manner- A white top and black pants worn on day one and every shift after
