Catering Service Worker - Plano, TX (W-2 position through C1 Staffing)
C1 Staffing is hiring Catering Service Workers to support catering events at a client site in Plano, TX, where you will set up, deliver and break down catered services for meetings and conference room functions. The role pays $20.83 per hour with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour, and it is a contract assignment with contract-to-hire potential.
What you will do:
- Organize, set up and deliver requested catering services to the specific location or conference room requested by the customer- Transport food, beverages, linens, serving ware and catering equipment from the kitchen or staging area to the event space- Arrange buffet tables, beverage stations and place settings so each event is ready before guests arrive- Monitor service areas during events, restocking items and keeping the presentation neat and clean- Break down and clean up service areas once events conclude, returning equipment and supplies to their proper place- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers, answering questions and handling requests professionally- Deliver efficient and attentive service that exceeds customer expectations from setup through cleanup- Communicate with the catering team about timing changes, added guest counts or special requests
Schedule and pay:
- $20.83 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime hours paid at $29.16 per hour- Shifts run 7:00 am to 3:00 pm- Approximately 8 hours per week- Contract assignment with contract-to-hire potential
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Ability to lift, carry and move catering equipment, food trays and supplies throughout the shift- Prior catering, banquet, food service or hospitality experience is helpful- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly attitude with guests and staff- Dependability and on-time arrival for every scheduled shift- Uniform requirement: black slacks and a black shirt
