C1 Staffing is hiring a Production Associate in Hayward, CA (94544) to help produce, inspect, and stage pizza dough inside a refrigerated distribution center. The position pays 23.00 dollars per hour, paid weekly.
This is shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis for dependable associates. Production Associates rotate through specialized line positions throughout the shift, including dough maker, dough bot, dough placer, tray washer, and cross/down stacker, and may be cross-trained into warehouse or sanitation areas. Please note the facility is kept between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit at all times to maintain food safety standards, and there is exposure to loud machinery.
What you will do:- Determine the correct batch recipe, then gather, measure, and mix ingredients, and ensure dough is delivered into the rounder- Record batch data, maintain the proofing library, and work toward achieving and maintaining dough certification- Perform metal detector checkups and dough temperature monitoring, documenting findings accordingly- Change dough sizes on the dough divider, metal detector, dough bot (JLS), and ink jet as needed, and check sifter tailings on time while recording results- Monitor equipment and make interventions through the HMI, and troubleshoot automated equipment such as the stacker, dolly loader, and tray buffer- Organize dough by size inside the dough cooler, stage product for shipment, and confirm print quality on trays- Load trays onto the conveyor for cleaning, monitor water pressure, water temperature, and detergent levels, and conduct titration or chemical testing on tray washer equipment as needed- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas, and report any irregularities to the supervisor or manager
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is 23.00 dollars per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing for reliable associates
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Steel-toe boots are required and must be worn to be allowed on the production floor- Comfortable working with yeast and flour products- Able to stand and walk for long periods and climb stairs during the shift- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and perform pushing of product- Able to work continuously in refrigerated conditions between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit- Able to work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery when necessary- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
