C1 Staffing is hiring a dependable Custodian (Cleaner) to help keep a professional facility clean, safe, and welcoming. If you take pride in a job well done and enjoy staying active throughout your workday, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team — no previous experience required.
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain lavatories and the lunchroom- Clean all common areas, including stairs, conference rooms, employee entrances, and the guest entrance- Vacuum carpeted common areas, main aisles, and hallways- Dispose of trash and recycling materials- Take inventory of custodial supplies and report items needing to be purchased- Respond quickly to internal customers' daily needs- Perform other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent- No prior experience required — we'll help you get started- Friendly, tactful customer service skills when working with internal customers- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Equipment You'll Use
- Lavatory cleansers and cleaning chemicals- Hand tools such as mops, brooms, dusters, and mop buckets- Power equipment such as vacuums and walk-behind sweepers- Motorized equipment such as rider sweepers or scrubbers
Physical Requirements
- Push and pull up to 50 lbs.- Lift 50 lbs. from the floor- Bending at the waist- Standing or walking approximately 70% of the workday
Dress Code
Black t-shirt, dark-colored pants, and non-slip safety shoes.
