Package Handler — Warehouse Worker (DeSoto, TX 75115)
C1 Staffing is hiring Package Handlers to unload trailers, sort packages by zip code, and load delivery trucks at a warehouse in DeSoto, TX 75115. The pay is $18.00 per hour, paid weekly, with both full-time and part-time schedules available.
What you will do:
- Unload incoming trailers and move packages to the sort area- Sort packages by zip code so they reach the correct delivery route- Load outbound trucks for delivery in an organized, secure way- Lift, carry, and stage packages weighing up to 50 pounds- Follow all safety procedures and practices — safety is the first core value on this team- Work shoulder to shoulder with the rest of the crew, since everyone pitches in to get the day's volume out- Keep your work area clear and report any safety concerns or damaged freight- Stay on your feet and keep pace through the shift as package volume moves
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $18.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Full-time and part-time schedules available
What you will need:
- Must be 18 years of age or older- Ability to stay on your feet for the length of your shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season- A dependable, flexible, and reliable approach to your shifts- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines- Gloves and work boots are recommended for this work- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
