C1 Staffing is hiring Package Handlers for a warehouse operation in Bohemia, NY (11716). This is a hands-on warehouse role paying $20.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time schedules available.
Package handlers keep freight moving from the trailer to the delivery truck. You will be part of a crew where everyone pitches in, and safety comes first in every task.
What you will do:- Unload packages and freight from incoming trailers- Sort packages by zip code so they move to the correct delivery route- Load outbound trucks for delivery in an organized, secure way- Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds- Stay on your feet throughout the shift while keeping pace with the flow of freight- Follow all safety procedures and practices, since safety is the operation's first core value- Work as a team player, supporting coworkers so the crew gets the job done together- Keep work areas clear and organized as trailers are unloaded and trucks are loaded
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $20.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Full-time and part-time schedules available
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stay on your feet while working- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures vary by season- Dependable, flexible, and reliable attendance and work habits- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow safety rules- Gloves and work boots are recommended for this role- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
