Furniture Delivery Loader / Crew — San Diego, CA
C1 Staffing is hiring a Delivery Loader / Crew member in San Diego to safely load, unload, and set up event furniture. This is shift-based gig work that may be ongoing, paying $18.00 per hour with weekly pay.
What you will do:- Safely load and unload furniture from trucks, handling every item with care to prevent damage- Place and position furniture correctly at the drop point or staging area according to instructions- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer between locations- Clean, wrap, and make minor repairs to furniture so it arrives in event ready condition- Assemble furniture on site and confirm each piece is complete and presentable- Keep the truck, staging area, and work zone clean and organized throughout the shift- Interact professionally with customers and on-site staff when questions come up- Follow all site safety rules, including wearing the high visibility safety vest provided on site
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $18.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Shift-based gig work that may be ongoing for reliable crew members
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to walk and stand for the length of the shift- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs- Strong attention to detail and care in handling furniture and finished surfaces- A professional, customer focused attitude on the job site- Dress code: plain t-shirt with jeans, work pants, or shorts, plus steel toe, safety, or composite protective footwear- No loose clothing is permitted; workers who do not meet the uniform and footwear requirements will be sent home- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
A quick note on the dress code: the protective footwear requirement is strict and is checked at the start of every shift, so please arrive in steel toe, safety, or composite toe shoes and a plain shirt. A high visibility safety vest is provided for you at the work site, so you do not need to bring one.
This role is a good fit for people who have done warehouse loading, moving, event setup, or general labor work and who take pride in delivering product that looks clean and ready for a customer event. Furniture is often headed to a live event space, so careful handling, correct placement, and a tidy work area matter just as much as speed.
