Warehouse Associate — Earth City, MO
C1 Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for shift-based warehouse work in Earth City, Missouri, paying $16.00 per hour. This is hands-on physical labor in an active warehouse environment, and shifts may continue on an ongoing basis for associates who show up and perform well.
What you will do:
- Load and offload delivery vehicles and trailers, moving product safely and efficiently by hand and with equipment.- Prepare outbound shipments so orders are staged, secured, and ready to move on schedule.- Label products and cartons accurately so shipments are routed correctly and inventory records stay clean.- Operate machinery and light warehouse equipment once you have been trained on it.- Work safely in and around forklift traffic and large trucks at the dock, staying alert to moving equipment at all times.- Maintain warehouse safety standards, including keeping aisles, dock areas, and work zones clear of hazards.- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift, including breaking down packaging and removing debris.- Perform repeated lifting, reaching, crouching, and bending as part of normal daily tasks.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $16.00 per hour.- Paid weekly.- This is gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing, so consistent performers can be offered additional shifts.
What you will need:
- You must be 18 years or older.- Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds, with 55 pounds or more lifted frequently during a shift.- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including reaching, crouching, and bending.- Comfort working around forklifts and large trucks in an active warehouse and dock environment.- Strong attention to detail when labeling products and preparing shipments.- Reliability and a commitment to showing up on time for scheduled shifts.- Willingness to be trained on machinery and light equipment before operating it.- Authorization to work in the United States; this position is subject to E-Verify.
