Environmental Service Attendant - Eden, NC 27288
C1 Staffing is hiring an Environmental Service Attendant in Eden, NC 27288 to keep assigned areas of a client facility clean, stocked, and sanitary. The pay is $19.96 per hour, and the schedule packs full-time hours into just three days a week, leaving you four days off.
What you will do:
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas, restrooms, break spaces, and common areas along a set route- Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated collection points- Restock paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies as needed throughout your route- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors so they meet facility standards- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures on every task- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and supply shortages to your supervisor- Work independently through your assigned route with minimal day-to-day supervision
Schedule and pay:
- $19.96 per hour, paid weekly- Full-time hours compressed into three days per week, with four days off- Ongoing, contract-to-hire assignment with strong potential to continue long term
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and the ability to work the full three-day schedule every week- Comfort standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift- Attention to detail and pride in keeping a space clean and well kept- Ability to work independently and stay on task without constant direction- Willingness to follow sanitation and infection-control procedures exactly as trained
This role suits someone who likes a predictable routine and visible results. You will cover the same areas on a regular rotation, so you will quickly learn what each space needs and be able to spot problems before anyone else does. Because the work is spread over three longer days rather than five shorter ones, consistency matters more than anywhere else; the client counts on every scheduled day being covered. In exchange, you get a block of time off each week that most full-time schedules do not offer.
Housekeeping and environmental services experience is helpful, but attendance, care, and a steady pace matter most. If you have worked in janitorial, custodial, hospitality housekeeping, or any role where cleanliness standards were enforced, that background will serve you well here. If this is your first environmental services role, you will be trained on the route, the products, and the procedures you are expected to follow.
