C1 Staffing is hiring a Baker in Dallas, TX, for a from-scratch bakery production kitchen where you will turn out fresh baked goods every morning. The role pays $19.00 per hour with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, and it carries contract-to-hire potential for the right candidate.
This is a day-shift baking position for someone who knows their way around recipes, production sheets, and a busy commercial kitchen. You will be part of a team that produces fresh product daily and holds a high bar for quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
What you will do:- Prepare fresh baked goods daily following established recipes and production specifications- Work in a from-scratch bakery production environment, mixing, shaping, and baking to spec- Maintain quality and consistency across every batch you produce- Read and follow production sheets accurately so daily output matches what the kitchen needs- Follow food safety and sanitation standards throughout your shift- Keep your station, equipment, and work areas clean and organized from start to finish- Support the broader kitchen team as production volume requires
Schedule and pay:- $19.00 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $22.20 per hour- Shift is 6:00am to 2:30pm- Guaranteed 40 hours per week- Contract assignment with contract-to-hire potential for the right candidate
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Previous experience as a Baker or Baker's Assistant in a from-scratch bakery or commercial kitchen- Ability to read and follow recipes and production sheets accurately- Comfort standing, lifting, and working on your feet for a full shift- Uniform required: black chefwear and black slip-resistant shoes- Attention to detail and consistency, since product is made fresh every day to set specifications
