Janitors and Cleaners - Austin, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for shift-based work in Austin, Texas, with pay at $16.00 per hour. We have 9 openings on this assignment, and the work may continue on an ongoing basis for crew members who show up ready to go.
This is hands-on cleaning work that keeps a site presentable and sanitary from the start of the shift to the end. You will be part of a crew moving through assigned areas, clearing waste and keeping floors and restrooms in good shape.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas- Collect and separate recycling from general waste- Empty garbage cans and keep collection points clear- Sweep floors, walkways, and other assigned surfaces- Clean restrooms, including fixtures and surfaces- Keep restrooms tidy and presentable throughout the shift- Haul collected trash and recycling to the designated disposal area- Work alongside the rest of the crew to cover all assigned zones before the shift ends
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig / shift-based work that may be ongoing- 9 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs for the length of the shift- Ability to lift and carry trash and recycling bags- Comfort working around waste, cleaning products, and restroom cleaning tasks- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors as assigned- Attention to detail so assigned areas are fully cleared and nothing is missed- Ability to follow directions from the crew lead and work well with a team- Reliability and on-time arrival for each scheduled shift
No long resume is required for this role. If you have done janitorial work, custodial work, event cleanup, housekeeping, or general labor, that experience is a plus, but we will consider anyone who is ready to work hard and follow instructions.
