Warehouse Associate (Loader / Crew)
C1 Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for on-call loading and moving crew work in Winston-Salem, NC (zip code 27109), paying $17.00 per hour. Hours range from 10 to 40 or more per week, with both full-time and gig opportunities available, so you can pick up the volume of work that fits your life.
What you will do:
- Load and unload trucks with care to prevent damage and make sure items are placed properly.- Move furniture and perform general moving labor throughout the warehouse and on trucks.- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed for storage, transfer, or delivery.- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer.- Clean, repair, wrap, and assemble furniture so it is rental-ready or properly stored.- Tag, store, and relocate inventory, and conduct cycle counts to keep inventory records accurate.- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse throughout your shift.- Follow all safety guidelines, take part in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups before work begins.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $17.00 per hour, paid weekly.- This is on-call, shift-based gig work that may continue on an ongoing basis.- Hours range from 10 to 40 or more per week depending on client volume.- Full-time and gig work schedules are both available.- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.
What you will need:
- You must be 18 or older.- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.- Willingness to follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups.- Dependability and clear communication, since on-call crews depend on everyone showing up ready to work.- A basic national criminal background check is required.- A 4-panel drug screening (no THC) is required.- E-Verify is required for this position, so you must be able to provide documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States.
