Forklift Driver - Fishers, IN (46037)
C1 Staffing is hiring a safety-conscious Forklift Driver for a full-time, ongoing warehouse role in Fishers, IN (46037), paying $21.00 per hour. This is a hands-on position moving goods, loaded pallets, and equipment safely and securely in a busy industrial environment.
What you will do:
- Maneuver forklifts safely through busy industrial and warehouse areas while moving goods, loaded pallets, and equipment.- Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves and pallets, keeping loads stable and secure.- Move goods from storage areas to loading areas so shipments are staged and ready for transport.- Unload incoming deliveries and relocate the goods to their designated storage areas.- Consolidate partial pallets for incoming freight and check inventories as needed.- Use industrial plastic wrap and wooden pallets to stack and package goods for transport.- Keep forklift driving lanes clear of spills and obstructions, and inspect forklift equipment regularly for faults or damage, reporting any issues right away.- Handle general janitorial duties such as sweeping and mopping, keeping the warehouse organized and OSHA-compliant.- Stay current on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay rate is $21.00 per hour.- Full-time position.- Paid weekly.- Career-track, ongoing assignment rather than a short-term project.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.- Comfort operating a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse with foot traffic and active loading areas.- Entry-level experience (0 to 1 year) in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.- Attention to detail when stacking, wrapping, and staging product, plus a consistent focus on safety.- Willingness to pitch in on non-forklift tasks such as packaging shipments, checking inventory, and warehouse cleanup.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
