Warehouse Associate — Gig Work in Secaucus, NJ (07094)
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for shift-based warehouse and furniture handling work in Secaucus, New Jersey (zip 07094). This is gig work that may turn into ongoing assignments for people who show up ready to work, and everyone on assignment with C1 is paid weekly.
What you will do:- Load and unload trucks with care, preventing damage and making sure items are placed properly- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer- Clean, repair, wrap, and assemble furniture so it is rental-ready or correctly stored- Tag, store, and relocate inventory throughout the warehouse- Conduct cycle counts to keep inventory records accurate- Keep the warehouse clean and organized throughout the shift- Follow all safety guidelines, attend safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups before work begins
Schedule and pay:- Gig, shift-based work that may become ongoing depending on business needs- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds- Comfortable standing and walking for the length of the shift- Care and attention when handling furniture and other items so nothing is damaged- Willingness to follow safety procedures, take part in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups- Ability to work weekend shifts when the schedule calls for it- Authorization to work in the United States; this employer participates in E-Verify
This is hands-on warehouse work with real variety. One part of the day may be unloading a truck and staging product for an outbound delivery, and the next may be wrapping and assembling furniture or walking the aisles for a cycle count. If you like staying busy, working on your feet, and finishing a shift knowing the warehouse is cleaner and better organized than when you arrived, this assignment is a good fit. Prior warehouse, furniture handling, delivery, or moving experience is helpful, but the most important things are reliability, care with the product, and a safety-first mindset.
