C1 Staffing is hiring a Catering Service Worker in Charlotte, NC for a short-term contract assignment with one of our clients. The role pays $16.44 per hour on a day shift of 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime paid at $23.02 per hour.

What you will do:- Organize and set up catering services according to each request, including arranging food, beverages, serviceware and table settings- Deliver catering orders to the specific requested location or conference room on time and in good condition- Provide prompt, courteous service to every customer you interact with during setup, service and pickup- Deliver efficient and attentive service that exceeds customer expectations throughout the shift- Monitor active catering setups and replenish or adjust items as needed so each event runs smoothly- Break down catering setups after events, returning equipment and clearing the space- Clean up service areas, dispose of waste and leave conference rooms ready for the next use- Communicate with the on-site team about delivery timing, special requests and any changes to an order
Schedule and pay:- $16.44 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $23.02 per hour- Day shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM- Approximately 24 hours for the week- Short-term contract assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and strong customer service skills- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Ability to lift, carry and transport catering items, equipment and supplies between locations on site- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and polite with customers- Required uniform: black slip-resistant shoes, black pants and a dark shirt
