C1 is hiring Environmental Service Attendants for a client location in Merrillville, IN. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity starting June 15, 2026 and running through August 28, 2026, with the potential to continue long term for the right person.
Pay and schedule details:- $16.37 per hour, with overtime paid at $22.92 per hour- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM- 40 hours per week
What you will do:- Clean and maintain assigned facilities in an orderly, presentable condition- Work in any assigned area on the client premises, which may include commercial, healthcare, school, university, or similar establishments- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards throughout your shift- Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns as needed
What you need:- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently across changing assignments- Comfort with standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the full shift- Steel toe boots are required and must be worn on site each day
