Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Operator) - Pensacola, FL 32505
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Operator) for a full-time, ongoing warehouse role in Pensacola, FL 32505, paying $19.00 per hour. This is a hands-on position in a fast-moving warehouse where you will handle car and construction batteries that average 50 to 100 pounds, so a willingness to lift heavy is essential.
What you will do:
- Load and offload vehicles and prepare outbound shipments accurately.- Lift and move car and construction batteries averaging 50 to 100 pounds throughout the shift.- Pick, pack, and ship items, working independently or as part of a team.- Label products and keep paperwork and product identification accurate and detailed.- Safely relocate or repack inventory items as directed, including items up to 50 pounds.- Operate machinery and other light equipment as trained, in a safe and responsible manner.- Keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean throughout the shift.- Reach, crouch, bend, and perform other physically strenuous tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $19.00 per hour.- This is a full-time, ongoing career position.- You are paid weekly by C1 Staffing.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with a willingness to lift over 55 pounds regularly; batteries handled in this role average 50 to 100 pounds.- Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift and work on your feet at a fast pace.- Comfort working around forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment.- Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, labeling, and staging shipments.- Reliability and consistent attendance, since the team depends on every shift being covered.- Willingness to follow safety instruction and operate light equipment only as trained.- Must pass a 9-panel drug screen.- Must pass a basic and county background check.- Employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify.
