C1 is hiring a Cook II in Madison, WI for one of our client partners. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity paying $19.22 per hour, with overtime paid at $26.91 per hour.
Schedule and assignment details:- Friday through Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with Wednesday and Thursday off- 40 hours per week- Assignment runs September 24, 2026 through December 24, 2026, with ongoing contract-to-hire potential
What you will do:- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods- Contribute to special events and catered functions- Maintain food quality, presentation, and safe handling standards throughout your shift
What you need:- Prior cooking experience in a high-volume or institutional kitchen- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Slip-resistant shoes and black pants (no yoga pants or sweatpants); the uniform shirt is provided on site
