C1 Staffing is hiring a Lead Worker - Facilities in Jefferson City, MO, coordinating the routine schedules of maintenance technicians while performing hands-on work in the skilled trades. This is an ongoing contract-to-hire position paying $17.42 per hour, with overtime paid at $24.39 per hour.
In this role, you will keep the maintenance schedule moving across one or more craft specialties while staying on the tools yourself. It is a strong fit for an experienced tradesperson who is ready to step into lead responsibilities without leaving the work behind.
What you will do:- Build and coordinate daily work schedules for maintenance technicians- Coordinate routine schedules for technicians involved in one or more craft specialties- Perform skilled trades work yourself in one or more craft specialties- Support technicians across multiple crafts as assignments require- Help keep routine maintenance running on time and completed to standard- Adjust technician assignments as priorities and workload shift during the shift- Serve as the day-to-day point of coordination between technicians and the work schedule
Schedule and pay:- $17.42 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $24.39 per hour- 40 hours per week- Shifts available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am- Ongoing contract-to-hire engagement with permanent placement potential
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Hands-on experience in one or more skilled trades or craft specialties- Readiness to take on lead responsibilities, including coordinating the work of other technicians- Ability to perform skilled trades work while also keeping schedules organized and on track- Comfort working any of the three available shifts, including overnights, depending on assignment- Physical ability to perform maintenance and skilled trades work throughout a full shift
