C1 is hiring an experienced Senior Cook for a client location in Johnson City, TN. This is a contract assignment running from September 7, 2026 through October 31, 2026, with the potential to become ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right candidate.
Pay is $20.48 per hour, with overtime paid at $28.67 per hour. The schedule is full time at 40 hours per week, with shifts starting at 8:00 AM. Uniforms are provided.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items with accuracy and efficiency- Support multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Cook and plate menu items for special events and catered functions- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines consistently- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station throughout each shift
What we are looking for:- Hands on cooking experience across hot and cold food production- Comfort working at a steady pace in a high volume kitchen- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle standard kitchen tasks- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail- Willingness to wear the provided uniform and follow kitchen dress code
