C1 Staffing is hiring an experienced Cook for a senior dining setting in Saint Bonifacius, MN (zip area served from the 55375 community). This is a full-time, contract-to-hire role paying $24.50 per hour, with the potential to become a permanent position.
If you enjoy cooking real food for people who look forward to every meal, this kitchen will keep you busy and appreciated. You will work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events, preparing hot and cold items to consistent standards.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods- Cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, adjusting pace and production to each meal period- Support special events and catered functions, including plating and presentation- Follow recipes and portion standards so every plate is consistent in quality, temperature, and appearance- Apply food safety practices throughout prep, cooking, holding, and storage- Keep work stations, cooking equipment, and storage areas clean, stocked, and organized- Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly during high-volume periods
Schedule and pay:- $24.50 per hour- Overtime paid at $34.30 per hour- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week- Paid weekly- Contract-to-hire, with the potential to become a permanent position
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Hands-on cooking experience in a kitchen that serves high volumes of meals- Ability to work efficiently across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering service- Comfort following recipes, portion guides, and food safety practices- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen- A chef coat is required as part of the daily uniform- Ability to stand, move, lift, and work around hot cooking equipment for the length of a full shift
