Janitors and Cleaners - Concert Event Cleaning in Del Valle, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for a large concert event in Del Valle, Texas, with pay at $16.00 per hour. We need 8 people for this shift-based gig, and reliable workers are often invited back for additional event assignments.
This is hands-on event cleaning work. You will help keep the grounds, seating areas, and restrooms clean and presentable before, during, and after the show, working alongside a crew of C1 workers and on-site supervisors.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and litter throughout the venue grounds, walkways, and seating areas- Collect and sort recycling into the correct containers- Sweep floors, concourses, and other assigned areas to keep walkways clear- Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces and restocking and tidying as directed- Empty garbage cans and replace liners as they fill up during the event- Haul full trash and recycling bags to designated collection points or dumpsters- Respond to spills and problem areas quickly so the venue stays safe for guests- Follow site instructions on where to work and when, and check out with your supervisor at the end of the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig / shift-based work that may be ongoing, with the chance of more event shifts- 8 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand and walk for the full length of the shift, often outdoors and across a large site- Ability to bend, reach, and lift and carry trash and recycling bags- Comfortable working around crowds and loud music in a busy event environment- Willingness to clean restrooms and handle trash and recycling as a routine part of the job- Ability to follow directions from on-site supervisors and stay with your assigned area- Dependability and on-time arrival, since event crews start together
No prior janitorial experience is required. If you are willing to work hard, keep moving, and take direction, we will show you what to do on site.
