C1 is hiring a Utility Worker in Detroit, MI for one of our client partners. This is a contract assignment with the potential to become ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right person. Pay is $17.45 per hour, with overtime paid at $24.43 per hour.
Schedule and details:- Day shift, 7:00am to 3:00pm- 40 hours per week- Assignment runs August 21, 2026 through September 4, 2026, with the possibility of extension
What you will do:- Keep kitchen work areas clean, organized and ready for service- Wash, sanitize and properly store utensils, smallwares and cookware- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment according to established standards- Support the kitchen team with general upkeep and sanitation tasks throughout the shift
What we are looking for:- Dependable attendance and on-time arrival for a consistent day shift- Comfort standing, walking, lifting and moving throughout the full shift- Ability to work at a steady pace in a busy kitchen environment- A team-first attitude and attention to cleanliness and detail
