C1 Staffing is hiring one janitor/cleaner for a general cleaning and janitorial assignment in Independence, Missouri, zip code 64050. The pay is $16.00 per hour, and you are paid weekly.
This is a hands-on cleaning role. You will keep assigned areas neat, sanitary, and stocked, working from a checklist or from direction given on site. It suits someone who takes pride in leaving a space visibly better than they found it and who can stay on task without a lot of supervision.
What you will do:- Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and spot clean hard floors in hallways, entryways, and common areas- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and floors- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, and liners- Empty trash and recycling containers, replace liners, and haul collected bags to the designated dumpster or compactor- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, push plates, railings, counters, and tables- Clean glass doors, interior windows, and entry areas, and remove marks, smudges, and debris- Respond promptly to spills and messes, place wet floor signs, and clean the area safely- Mix and use cleaning chemicals according to label directions, keep a cart or closet organized, and report damage, leaks, or supply shortages to the site contact
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- One opening available for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older- Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach overhead, and push a cleaning cart for the length of the shift- Able to lift and carry trash bags, mop buckets, and supply cases, and to move between areas of the site as needed- Comfortable using standard janitorial tools and equipment, including brooms, mops, vacuums, and spray bottles- Willing to follow chemical labels, safety signage, and any site-specific rules for the assignment- Attention to detail and reliable attendance, since this assignment has a single worker covering the cleaning duties- Legally authorized to work in the United States; C1 Staffing participates in E-Verify
