C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term contract assignment in Plano, TX (zip 75024 area, Plano). This role pays $18.44 per hour with overtime at $25.82 per hour, and it is focused, well-paid work over a few days without a long-term commitment.
What you will do:- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for staff to work in throughout each shift- Wash, rinse, and sanitize tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment- Operate and maintain dish machine equipment, keeping it clean and in proper working order- Keep the dishroom organized, with clean items stocked and returned to their proper places- Set the pace for the dish team and help keep the area running smoothly during busy service periods- Clear, sort, and stage soiled dishware so the flow from kitchen to dishroom stays steady- Keep floors, sinks, and work surfaces clean and free of hazards during and after service- Communicate with kitchen staff about equipment needs and supply levels
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $18.44 per hour- Overtime is paid at $25.82 per hour- Short-term contract assignment of approximately 16 hours for the week- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Comfort standing for extended periods and handling repetitive lifting, bending, and reaching- Ability to work in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment with wet floors and heavy equipment- A black uniform, clean and ready for each shift- Dependable attendance for every scheduled day of this short assignment- Attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen- Willingness to lead by example and keep a small dish team moving during peak times
