C1 is hiring two experienced Senior General Maintenance Workers for a client site in Emory, VA. This is a contract assignment running from September 23, 2026 through November 21, 2026, with the potential to become ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right person.
Pay is $16.39 per hour, with overtime paid at $22.95 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, for 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Maintain and repair dorm rooms, classrooms, and campus buildings- Paint interior and exterior surfaces and repair flooring- Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and upkeep- Respond to emergency calls and support urgent tasks as needed- Check in with the maintenance manager each morning for daily assignments
What we are looking for:- Prior hands-on general maintenance experience is required- Comfortable working across multiple trades in an occupied campus setting- Reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset
Dress code: slip-resistant shoes, clean pants, and a clean shirt. A work shirt will be provided after you start.
