C1 is hiring a General Maintenance Worker in Carlsbad, NM. This is a contract assignment running June 8, 2026 through August 6, 2026, with the potential to become contract-to-hire for the right person. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Pay is $14.57 per hour, with overtime paid at $20.40 per hour. Uniforms are provided.
What you will do:- Repair and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and building systems- Paint interior and exterior surfaces and repair flooring- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC (heating and air conditioning) work- Complete full janitorial duties at assigned locations- Respond to emergencies and support any necessary tasks that arise
What we are looking for:- Hands-on general maintenance experience across multiple trades- Comfort with physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift- Reliable attendance and the flexibility to assist during emergency situations- Willingness to wear the provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance- Ability to pass a background screening
