Warehouse Associate — New York, NY 10018
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate for gig, shift-based warehouse work in New York, NY (10018), supporting furniture handling, loading, and inventory work. This is shift-based work that may become ongoing, and every worker on assignment with C1 Staffing is paid weekly.
What you will do:- Load and unload trucks with care, preventing damage and making sure every item is placed properly for transport or storage- Pick and stage products, then prepare them for delivery or transfer to the next location- Clean, repair, and wrap furniture so it is rental-ready or correctly protected while in storage- Assemble furniture and other items according to instructions and quality standards- Tag, store, and relocate inventory within the warehouse so items can be found and pulled quickly- Conduct cycle counts and help keep inventory records accurate- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including work zones, aisles, and staging areas- Follow all safety guidelines, take part in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups before starting work
Schedule and pay:- Gig, shift-based assignment that may continue on an ongoing basis depending on business needs- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to walk and stand for the length of the shift- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs- Comfort working around furniture, hand tools, and warehouse equipment in a fast-moving environment- Willingness to follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups- Attention to detail for tagging, staging, and cycle counting so inventory stays accurate- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
