C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for event cleaning work at a concert in Austin, TX. The pay is 16.00 dollars per hour, paid weekly, and we have 9 openings on this crew.
This is shift-based gig work through C1 Staffing, and it may lead to more event assignments for people who show up and do the job well. You will be part of a cleaning crew keeping the venue, restrooms, and surrounding areas clean and presentable before, during, and after the show. The work is straightforward, hands-on, and moves quickly, so a good attitude and steady pace matter more than a long resume.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the venue, including seating areas, walkways, and common areas- Collect and sort recycling and keep recycling containers from overflowing- Sweep floors and hard surfaces to keep walkways clear and free of debris- Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces and keeping them stocked and presentable during the event- Empty garbage cans, replace liners, and move full bags to the correct collection point- Respond to spills and problem areas quickly so guest areas stay safe and clean- Work alongside the rest of the crew and follow direction from the onsite supervisor- Help with final cleanup and walkthrough after the event so the venue is turned over clean
Schedule and pay:- Pay is 16.00 dollars per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig and shift-based work, with the possibility of ongoing assignments- 9 workers needed for this crew- Location is Austin, TX
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older- Ability to be on your feet for the length of the shift, including walking the venue, bending, stooping, and reaching- Ability to lift and carry bags of trash and recycling and move them to collection points- Comfort working around crowds, noise, and an active event environment- Willingness to clean restrooms and handle trash and recycling as a regular part of the job- Ability to follow instructions from the onsite supervisor and work well with a team- Punctuality and reliability, since the crew depends on everyone arriving on time and staying through the assignment- Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or event cleanup experience is helpful but not required
