Environmental Service Attendant - Lenoir, NC
C1 Staffing is hiring an Environmental Service Attendant to clean and maintain facilities for one of our clients in Lenoir, NC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity paying $16.44 per hour on a steady Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with overtime paid at $23.02 per hour.
What you will do:- Clean and maintain assigned facilities, keeping all areas orderly, sanitary, and presentable throughout the shift- Work in any location on the client's premises as assigned, which may include commercial, healthcare, school, university, or similar settings- Follow all site safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures exactly as trained- Move between assigned areas as directed, staying flexible when work locations change during the day- Keep supplies, equipment, and work areas organized and ready for the next shift- Perform physical cleaning tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for the length of the shift- Work independently with minimal supervision once assignments are given- Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or supply needs to the appropriate site contact
Schedule and pay:- $16.44 per hour, paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Overtime paid at $23.02 per hour- Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 2:30pm- 40 hours per week- Ongoing assignment with the potential to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently once assignments are given- Comfort performing physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift- Willingness to be flexible with work locations across the site- Uniform required: white shirt with black pants- Ability to follow site safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
