C1 Staffing is hiring experienced Food Service Supervisors for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA 90045, supporting food operations at a large, busy facility. Pay is $29.92 per hour, with overtime paid at $41.89 per hour, and you are paid weekly.
This is a senior-level supervisory role for someone who already knows how a food service operation runs and can keep a team moving at the direction of on-site management. The assignment is contract-to-hire with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis.
What you will do:- Provide on-site oversight at the direction of management, coordinating the routine work activities of food service staff and service employees- Support food operations in large or complex facilities, which may include commercial sites, health care, schools, universities, or similar establishments- Assist management with the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business- Keep service running smoothly, safely, and on schedule throughout each shift- Communicate clearly with frontline team members so tasks and station assignments are covered- Help maintain a professional, customer-facing service environment during peak and off-peak periods- Step in alongside management to address day-to-day issues as they come up on the floor
Schedule and pay:- $29.92 per hour- Overtime paid at $41.89 per hour- Schedules vary, so flexible availability is important- Approximately 40 hours per week- Paid weekly- Contract-to-hire, with potential to continue on an ongoing basis
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior supervisory or lead experience in food service or a related operations setting- Strong communication and coordination skills with frontline teams- Ability to direct and support staff while keeping service on schedule- Reliable availability for a varying schedule- Professional, well-presented appearance appropriate for a customer-facing food environment- Comfort working on your feet and moving throughout a large facility for the length of the shift
