Environmental Service Attendant - Eden, NC
C1 Staffing is hiring an Environmental Service Attendant for a client location in Eden, NC, paying $19.96 per hour with overtime paid at $27.94 per hour. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity on a steady Monday through Friday day shift, with the potential to continue long term for the right person.
What you will do:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, keeping all spaces orderly and presentable throughout the shift- Work in any assigned location on the client's premises, which may include commercial, health care, school, university or similar settings- Follow all site safety, sanitation and infection control procedures exactly as trained- Restock supplies in assigned areas so that spaces stay stocked and ready for use- Report maintenance needs and repair issues as you spot them during your rounds- Push and move carts and equipment between work areas across the facility- Maintain a professional appearance and work respectfully around staff, visitors and the public
Schedule and pay:
- $19.96 per hour, with overtime paid at $27.94 per hour- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.- 40 hours per week, with overtime available- Paid weekly- Contract-to-hire, with the potential to continue long term for the right person- Uniform required from day one: white top and black pants
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Dependable attendance and the ability to work the full assigned shift, every scheduled day- Comfort standing, walking and bending throughout the day- Ability to lift and to push carts and equipment during the shift- Professional appearance and the ability to work respectfully around staff and visitors- Willingness to work in any assigned area on the client's premises, including health care or education settings- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions on cleaning, sanitation and safety procedures- Successful completion of required pre-employment screening
This role suits someone who takes pride in a clean, well-ordered space and notices the small things: a supply closet running low, a loose handle, a spill that needs attention before someone walks through it. You will cover assigned areas on a routine, so organization and consistency matter more than speed.
